Working out of her studio in Eagle, Idaho, Keri Lyn's art introduces a unique and whimsical look at her subjects, capturing colors to express emotions which are reflected in her pieces. Keri Lyn combines an impressionistic view along with a radiant scheme to reveal the power of color and the charming nature of the animals she portrays. Her sensitivity toward the small and often overlooked elements are revealed through unusual angles, brilliant colors, and her focus on isolated images. Keri Lyn's rural Idaho lifestyle brings emotion and authenticity to her work. A passion for her subject matter often brings her to the places and events where many of her ideas are born. Previously noted for her work as a western artist, Keri Lyn has made a name for herself with her colorful canine portraits. With a style that reveals her natural talent, Keri Lyn is already being recognized in world wide art circles.
Keri Lyn shares her life with husband Brady, a veterinarian. A perfect match from the begining, the two of them have worked hard to establish the home and lifestyle that are conducive to their passions and somewhat parallel careers.
Keri Lyn looks forward to raising her kids on their country acreage, fullfilling her dream of being a stay at home mom while still being able to maintain her passion as an artist.
Keri Lyn and her husband enjoy life in the country, fishing, camping,
horseback riding and spending time with family and friends. (and pets!)
Here's What the Artist says...
First of all...
Let me start off my saying ... THANKS for taking the time to look at my artwork. I sure feel lucky to be able to do something that I love ~ and surround myself with neat people and animals.
From a very early age, I have loved to create. I have always been fascinated by color and design. I have also always had a soft spot for any and all creatures. So I feel truly blessed to have found a place in this world that allows me to work with both!
The most rewarding part of being an artist, for me, is sharing my work with others ~ I love the connection that happens between people and artwork...and to be a part of that on a daily basis is so inspiring.
And I am continually learning... meeting new people and
finding new outlets for my work. Most of all, I try to surround myself with the people and things that inspire me the most. My largest inspirations come from right here at home ~ my faith, my husband, family and animals. I am so thankful for my many blessings, and the ability to work from a home studio. Life is beautiful... celebrate it... enjoy it...share it!!
Best Wishes and Many Blessings,
"I think I have been most inspired
by the way that my work effects
others. The best part of life is sharing it ... words, colors,
moments and emotions...
these are not things to be stingy with..."
